The first time I saw The Room, I knew it was an absolute classic. NOT in the way he intended, I'm sure, but I would go on to annoy my girlfriend by watching it multiple times, quoting lines. I'm pretty sure that's why she cheated on me that year, making the year 2009 a realistic, unfunny version of The Room for me.

ANYway. I always know I can come to this film for respite and relief whenever life gets me down. Despite its dubious quality, and lack of technical skill; Tommy raised the funds for his passion alone, and got his film released. And that's absolutely inspiring to me, as an aspiring writer and filmmaker.

Thanks for the laughs Tommy, even if that's not what you were going for, you truly produced a classic. Hell, even hearing the theme music cheers me up. So I guess it came out right after all ;).

He did not struggle & raise the funds, he's wealthy. He's been quite comfortably independently wealthy well before writing & torturing his actors during filming of The Room, & then finally us.

That would be one hell of a pathetic excuse to cheat...
