what is he ethnically?
Just curious.
British (Or if you want to be exact about it; English).
shareI asked about his ethnic composition, not his nationality.
I'm fairly certain that ethnic composition is 1) Personal and 2) In a constant state of flux like everyone else's.
He's as British as fish and chips, chicken tikka masala, a doner kebab pizza or baked beans on toast.
None of which originated in Britain and yet all of which are inherently British and have been for generations.
Thank you for this most useless reply.
shareOnly apt for a useless question.
shareYou are quite an idiot, I see.
Buh-bye.
Don't let common sense hit you on the bottom on your way out!
shareI said I am done talking to you personally, not that I am leaving.
Which you were too stupid to even understand.
But that's not my problem.
There's a button under this reply on the far right which says ignore.
I would suggest you use it to prevent yourself from reading any more of my posts if they cause you such distress.
I know this post is three years old, and someone has been trolling you with Liberal Progressive politically correct nonsense, but the simple answer to your question is that Ricky Whittle's mom is white and his dad is black, so he's biracial.

Gosh, it really has been so long that I forgot who he was!
Just googled him - yeah, I can definitely see that in the pics where he has longer hair.
He was beautiful on The 100.
I actually became rather fond of him because of The 100 as well, if not for his standout looks at least for his somewhat less masculine(?) portrayal of a Vin Diesel expy.
But he seemed a little too soft to fulfill the shoes set by the now dad-bod-rocking Vinny D.
Anyway, I think if he lowers his vocal register and takes on more brooding, supporting roles as an ex-military badass or escaped prisoner, he might make it somewhere in Hollywood beyond just being eye-candy in forgettable dramas for the ladies.
