The fact that he offers to summarize America in a single word, then goes directly into a story about China should be just as alarming as his complete inability to speak incoherently.

reply

The fact that the other guy was so bad, that this bad guy got 81 million votes should be just as alarming.

Pick better candidates.

reply

nothing wrong with the other candidate, the fact that the person that won never did any campaigning and hardly left his bunker in Vermont is the most alarming thing in history.

just proves that people will vote for a rotten turnip cause the news told them to.

reply

The fact that you think that there was nothing wrong with the other candidate really shows how far the US has fallen. Neither candidate was good. If you are going by speech flubs, the other guy has just as many as the current guy.

Also, what does campaigning have to do with being a good leader? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. So lack of campaigning doesn't make one any worse than the constant champagning of the other one. I mean the other one spent most of his presidency campaigning instead of presidenting. Maybe the US needs more than just two parties, 2 term limits in the house and the senate. You guys are too much this or that, right or left, up or down, and there is no in between.

I'm not saying that this administration is any better than the last, I'm saying that they both suck and the parties need to find some better candidates in the future who actual want to lead the country or the US will find itself even further up the list of backsliding democracies.

reply

Our 2 choices was an old guy who was in Politics for 4 years and got a ton of stuff done or an older guy who has been in Politics for over 50 years and has done nothing. I would choose the old guy.

The current guy has tons of recorded speech flubs and is known as the gaffe machine. Trump can speak for 2 hours non-stop and unscripted, while dementia Joe can barely speak for 2 minutes while rubbing his nose saying gibberish.

To my knowledge all Presidential candidates have done campaigning and it proves to voters that you are willing to put in the extra work to spread your ideals and philosophy. Meanwhile, dementia Joe had a max crowd of ten people sitting in their cars honking their horns. This just shows how stupid people are.

I am for term limits and age limits.

President - 8 years
House - 12 years
Senate - 12 years
Supreme Court - 15 years

Max age for any office will be 77. (mandatory retirement)

There is no need to have 80+ people making and passing laws that can last generations.

The average age of the CEO's of Amazon, Google, Microsoft and Twitter is 54. Our current president is 79.

If 80 year olds were better leaders then how come Big Tech companies dont hire them?

This is why we need term limits in DC. Working in Congress was never meant to be a lifelong career.

Trump was a good candidate, unfortunately nearly everyone in DC worked to undermine him and get rid of him. What if both Parties worked together with the President? Could you imagine how much better our Country would be?

Campaigning in the US hasn't been about spreading ideas for a really long time. All it is is saying how horrible the other candidate is. It's been that way for years, on both sides. I do not think that just because presidents have always campaigned that it means that one has to especially during a global pandemic.

It's obvious that you like Trump, and that's fine, but if you don't understand most of those vote for Biden were really votes against Trump, then I don't know what to tell you.

reply

Campaigning can be negative but not all the time. I would have hard time voting for someone that never spoke publicly and was on the ballot.

It was the same in 2016, a lot of people voted against Hillary.

I find it weird that no one ever responds to my age and term limits idea. I never get a yea or nay.

reply

I thought since I brought up term limits myself, I didn't need to say that I agreed with them. I would do 8 for house and senate, but I have no issues with 12.

reply

Ok no problem. Was just curious.

reply

I don’t know about term limits for Congress. I respect the philosophy behind term limits. But, I’m not sure how I feel about the idea of not being able to vote for who I want when it comes to the representative of where I live.

reply

so I am assuming you would vote for the same person over and over because thats who you like?

why do we put 80 yr olds in power and expect change?

let use Joe for an example, he has been a Politician for over 50 years and is 79. what change will he accomplish?

reply

We have elections instead of term limits and the same idiots keep re electing the same people

reply

yeah, thats what I dont understand. there is no reason for someone to be in office for 30 to 40 years.

Nancy has been in office for 36 years, and no one can tell me what she has accomplished in that time frame.

reply

I never voted for her

reply

ok

reply

Max age for any office will be 77. (mandatory retirement)

Since Tump will be 78 in 2024 you agree that he is too old to be president? So much for Trump 2024.

reply

it will start in 2031. we will need Trump back in 2025 to fix America after a dementia patient ruined it and started WWIII and caused massive inflation.

reply

Bunker in Vermont? Where'd you hear that crap? Biden last visited our lovely state in 2018...
And, as I've pointed out to you before, I *would* have voted for a rotten turnip over the orange nightmare in a second!

reply

bunker biden got thrown out in the trash! lol

reply

It's more about policy then candidates.

Do you support the side that defunds police, allows open borders, no cash bail, kills oil pipelines, allows boys to compete against girls?

Of course not. Americans that voted for Biden told the gov. We are willing to pay more in gas, we are willing to pay more in taxes, we will accept inflation, we will accept an increase in crime. We will give up our safety from Islamic terrorism if it doesn mean trump.

reply

Reasons why the US could benefit from losing the 2 party system and providing other options.

reply

Can't argue with that. Trump's not the boogieman the left makes him out to be, but he is a douchebag.

reply

I wish Twitter had never existed, thats what got him in trouble the most.

reply

He was such a horrendously bad politician. If you don’t like Ketanji Jackson on the Supreme Court, you can blame President Trump directly. Republicans lost two Senate seats in the Jan 2021 Georgia runoff because President Trump exhausted himself with fraud conspiracies after the Jan 2020 election. Had he not been so preoccupied with that narrative, he could’ve helped maintain those Georgia senate seats which were virtually guaranteed until his political miscalculations. Without Democratic Senate control, President Biden would’ve been forced to choose a more moderate nominee with the intelligence and personal fortitude to answer a question about the meaning of the word “woman.”

BDS much?

BDS makes good suspensions systems, was thinking about getting one. What do you recommend?
