All through the last couple seasons, I said I'd love to see a Green Arrow spinoff. Now there is one, but they don't cast Hartley in the role. I probably won't watch based on that alone...

Much like that failed AQUAMAN pilot, this obviously is not canon with SMALLVILLE. And I think at the end of that show Oliver Queen is married to Chloe, and has a son. This is a new origin.

Chances are Justin will never play the Green Arrow again, unless they for some reasonmake a SMALLVILLE movie, or he voices the character in a DC animated movie.

I was thrilled when I heard about the Arrow series (a spin off everyone really wanted), but, bitterly disappointed when I learned that Justin wouldn't be playing Green Arrow. That makes no sense. Justin worked hard over the years making that role his own and he was Oliver Queen. That role should have been his. I know alot of different actors have played Superman / Batman / superheroes etc, but, really it was abit soon to recast Green Arrow when they already had a decent actor just playing the part. It's on the same network as Smallville and Smallville has only really just ended and Justin really deserved better

He can still be in Arrow.

An good character is good for any actor. Being typecast is bad.Good that Justin is branching out.
I would be cool if they give him a new role in Arrow.
