Why did he not work with Adam Sandler again?

I believe Brand interviewed Adam for a show he was presenting and they hit it off. Sandler invites Brand to be in his film Bedtime Stories but they never work together again.

Considering that Sandler likes to reuse the same comedian friends in his films, why didn’t Brand become a regular too? Brand only had 2 hit films and hasn’t done much else since.

Because Brand is even more box office poison than Adam Sandler?

Maybe? Though I think Sandler casts more on who he gets on with than who will sell tickets. Most of these are smaller parts I think.

What I think is more likely is that Brand’s ego got in the way and he insisted in being the star himself.
