And there she goes... Now to predict her years in jail. If she has no criminal history, this is probably be 10 years at most but shortened for good behavior before probation later on.

Hmm... Count 1 doesn't seem to fit the bill.
COUNT I
First-degree manslaughter
One of the ways Minnesota law defines first-degree manslaughter is causing someone’s death while committing or attempting to commit a lesser crime — a misdemeanor or gross misdemeanor — in a way that a reasonable person could foresee would cause death or great bodily harm.
Specifically, prosecutors accuse Ms. Potter of causing Mr. Wright’s death through reckless handling or use of a firearm.
First-degree manslaughter is a felony, punishable by up to 15 years’ imprisonment and a fine of up to $30,000. The standard sentence for someone without a criminal record, like Ms. Potter, would be about seven years.
COUNT II
Second-degree manslaughter
One of the ways Minnesota law defines second-degree manslaughter is causing someone’s death through culpable negligence, by creating an unreasonable risk and consciously taking chances of causing death or great bodily harm.
Prosecutors accuse Ms. Potter of doing so while using a firearm.
Second-degree manslaughter is a felony, punishable by up to 10 years’ imprisonment and a fine of up to $20,000. The standard sentence for a person without any previous convictions would be about four years.
That is such bullshit! That bag of shit ran from a traffic stop. Why? He was a criminal, like the rest of these cocksuckers. Why are idiots like Daunte Wright “badasses”….until they get caught. Wright deserved what he got.
share"like the rest of these cocksuckers."
I don't think cops should go to prison for the death/injury of a person who is resisting arrest. I do think it would be appropriate for them to get fired or face disciplinary action if they violated procedures/rights. Wright could have let her put cuffs on and went to the police station. He chose to run and get in the car and drive away. He also drove away after being shot and that complicated matters. He was bleeding out while driving away until he crashed the car a block or more away.
Who is going to sign up to be a cop if they will go to prison when they try to arrest a criminal? More importantly, is a cop going to run to danger when they could go to prison for doing their job? This is similar to the George Floyd situation. Floyd didn't want to get into the vehicle and the four cops put him in the stress position. The whole situation could have been avoided if Floyd had just gotten in the vehicle but he freaked out... probably because he was on drugs.
This is also going to put pressure on citizens when we call 911. Are the cops going to show up? Another aspect of this is a movement by some to prosecute people who use 911 to report offenders. Mob justice is prevalent in third world countries because the people don't trust the cops. Are we as a society heading in this direction of laws on the books that are not enforceable?
Excellent news! The jury didn't buy her crap about confusing her Glock for a Taser...
