Nikki reed was a slut and a drug addict at age thirteen and is proud of it yeah wouldn't be bragging about that fact... Drew Barrymore had the premature party girl image but also went to rehab and totally regrets that she also had the trials of being a child star and a famous celebrity family to kind of blame... Nikki seems proud that she was a skank at 13 not sure I follow. I almost think her first marriage failed because Paul mc Donald probably watched this movie and got a bad taste in his mouth... I sure did. Evan Rachel wood was lovely and holly hunter was great as well. Nikki though very. Got should have made better choices. I hope this was not all factual.

I don't think the film glorifies that kind of lifestyle and you missed the point.

A woman can only continue on with that lifestyle for so long before she gets bored with it or ages out. That was certainly her lifestyle then, it was obvious in ''Thirteen'' she was a little too familiar with most of the things in the movie and not just acting. She wrote the script and it was based on her life. But now, at 30 years old I am fairly positive that version of her self is long gone.
