to the best of my knowledge he is not gay but who knows! i did read that he had a long term relatonship in the past with a woman so im guessing he is straight

To be honest, there were a couple things that kind of made me arch an eyebrow in the Rove interview, but I just told myself, "He's just shy/European."

reply

I don't think so. He seems to be around a lot of women, which doesn't mean he's not gay. But I think he was dating a lot of them. It would be hot if he was gay though. ;)

what does that mean, "he's shy/european."

what do you mean by saying european in that context?
i am just being curious, no offense...

lol It's kind of a reference to when I went to Italy. One of my good friends loves to play the "Gay or Straight" game (try and decide whether two guys walking "a little close" are in a relationship or not). Well, after walking around Rome, she rolled her eyes and sighed, "You can't play the 'Gay or Straight' game with Europeans." I'm assuming it was because there really isn't a personal space rule in Italy. Is there one in England? I don't know.

The shy excuse was about some of the things I noticed in the Rove interview. When Rove asked who would be his first Hollywood wife, he blushed and looked so flustered! I just told myself it's because he's shy. I am, too, and I know it's really hard to talk about such personal things in front of people you don't know that well without turning funny colors.

never heard of that kind of game but it sure does sound like fun.
well i am not english meself so I don't know about their personal space
but I think italians are very open in general and that what you said about the
personal space rule is true.

i loved it how he blushed.. it was very cute..
but there was one question and the answer I didn't get because I'm not a
native speaker.
what was the second question?
and he wins 20 bucks if he answers the questions?

and what did he say about dealing in england when he came back from australia?
would appreciate your help
thanks in advance

reply

Ha. The second question was "Would you go bare buns for a role?" In other words, would he have a nude scene, to which he--very casually, might I add--says yes. I DEMAND HE FOLLOW THROUGH ON THIS!!! I WILL SEE TO IT FOR THE GOOD OF US ALL THAT HE DOES!!!

Okay. Stalker rant over.

I'm not sure how the $20 thing works. I think that he just gives it to them, anyway.

The dealing thing took a while for me to get, too. I guess there's something called the "Twelfth Man" comedy tapes. Something to do with cricket. I guess he gave them to a friend who then copied them for someone else who did the same for someone else and so on. From what I understand, the humor is pretty adult and the cops questioned him for "dealing". Please understand that's a whole lot of paraphrasing with a touch of assumption.

I saw that interview on Youtube. He seemed antsy, a little nervous. There was one moment after answering a question, he had that wide-eyed glazed look while looking down after answering, and he had those squiggly eyebrows which said "I hope Im doing okay," along with an awkward grin. I find that adorable because he was so trying to be a good, lively guest. A good sport, he is.
