Hatter Madigan...

Just people's opinions, to those of you who have read The Looking Glass Wars, wouldn't he be a great Hatter? Post here if you have any ideas on who would make up the cast.

p.s. It's not on IMDb, but Frank Beddor is working on the screenplay...YAY!

I'm obsessed with old, children's literature...the good stuff that can be construed as creepy, and Alice in Wonderland is one of them.

Story in a nutshell: The Looking Glass Wars

If Alice and Wonderland were real and the story we've heard is ALL LIES.

Alice Liddell = Alyss Heart
Princess of Wonderland that escaped during a war in Wonderland, grew up in London, and returns to gain her rightful place as it's Queen.

The Cheshire Cat = The "Cat"
An assassin, and the smiling is creepy because he's a killer.

The Mad Hatter = Hatter Madigan
But a HELL of a lot cooler. Personal bodyguard to the Queen. Wears a top hat and a long coat, so he looks dapper, but moves like Neo from the Matrix and his hat and various other parts of his uniform unsheathe blades that he goes APESH!T with. I'd love to see it on film.

The White Rabbit = Bibwit Harte
An albino with translucent skin with a plethora of knowledge and large, ears that can hear from far away. Obviously sounds cooler than a rabbit.

The Caterpillar = THERE ARE FIVE
Oracles who appear and disappear in clouds of smoke. The wisest is blue, but they are green, purple, red, yellow and orange as well.

The Queen of Hearts = Redd
She's crazy (the off with the heads thing is still there). Has matted hair, and wears a red dress with living, man-eating roses on it.

The book moves really fast, but just the story would make for an awesome movie.

Ok so i now definately agree with you that charlie would made an amzing hatter madigan! I think it's the whole top hat part lol. He looks good in hats.

EDIT: I just saw an old GQ magazine shoot with charlie and he's wearing a hat (i think it's bowler rather than top) and he's also got on a long coat. He definately reminds me of hatter madigan, since im currently reading "The looking glass wars"
