ugly to hot in Stardust

Am I the only one who thinks he looked ugly when he had short mousy disgusting hair and baggy torn clothes, then suddenly transformed (seriously, it was like seeing a diffrent person!)into prince charming by having long hair and clean suave clothes. All my friends disagree, they thought he looked great throughout...gross...please back me on this...lol. By the way, love Robert De Niro playing the gay pirate...I really didn't see that coming!

I loved that transformation, and I always had a thing or two for guys who look good with long hair. Dunno, I'm a 13-year-old viewer of this movie... and I loved it!

SUMMARY: He's so hot!

WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO? WHEN WILL THE MADNESS END? http://imdb.com/title/tt0795421/

reply

Absolutely! I gasped when I saw him for the first time all made up and gorgeous, with that hair blowing in the wind and that infectious smile! I never really found him attractive at 1st, I wondered why they got this guy to play Tristan when the young dad was much much HOTTER, now I know why! Often with Cinderella transformations, at the very beginning, in their BEFORE period, you could always tell that they were good lookers but not with this film and Charlie Cox. I was one of those who complained that he was a tad plain but wowza, what a transformation! I like what I see!

Oh, what a big man you are! Hey let me buy you a pack of gum, I'll show you how to chew it

reply

I agree with all of you! I thought the young Dunston was much better looking and then when he got the hair and clothes it was better. I don't usually like the long hair hunk thing but it worked on him!

reply

I was at first disapointed when I realized that the main guy was kinda ugly, and I thought that the young dad was much better looking and should have played Tristan. After the makeover he got a lot more attractive to me, especially in the scene with that girl he originally loved and her man pulls out the little dagger and Tristan pulls out his sword, WOWZA!, he became sooo damn hot to me!!!! They really took a boy and turned him into a man in that movie!

reply

I think that's a sign of good casting, though, that a lot of people couldn't tell what the transformation would bring! I agree, I was a bit underwhelmed in the beginning, but that made the makeover that much better, don't you agree?

reply

I totally agree, he is so hot later on. I also thought that the young dad looked hotter and would have made a good Tristan, apparently he was actually concidered for the role. But I'm glad he wasn't picked because Charlie Cox is great after his transformation, and Ben Barnes (the young dad) got a great role in the new Narnia film as Prince Caspian and looked extremely hot!

reply

The young dad was Ben Barnes, who also happens to play Prince Caspian in The Chronicles of Narnia!!!

He is Hot! I agree that Charlie Cox didn't look that great at the beginning, but wow! What a tranformation. I was drooling!
