I would say it's an interesting choice. He was good on Boardwalk Empire.

Bad choice!!!!! He looks more like a Peter Parker than a Matt Murdoch!!!!! Ugh.

Initially, I would have to agree. But bulking up and getting the Matt Murdock hair cut could convince me. Plus, he is a talented young actor. Obviously Marvel saw something in him to play Daredevil for 13 straight hours plus the Defenders miniseries.

He was so good in Boardwalk Empire...I just can't see him playing a superhero character. I do consider myself a fan, so I will watch. Ben Affleck took so much heat from critics and fans when he played Daredevil, and IMO the movie did suck. This is going to be a 13 episode series. I am still hopeful that Charlie will end up working on another HBO series or movie. I have fingers crossed that Charlie can pull off his version of Daredevil.

I liked him on Boardwalk Empire. Now he just needs to start hitting the weights.
