The Chicks were robbed

The Chicks returned with their first studio album in 14 years, Gaslighter, released on July 17th of this year. The album is really great! Not only did they update their brand (I'm totally on board with the name change), but they came out with what may be their best album. It's so different than anything they've released before. I was never a country guy, but the Chicks always trended enough toward rock for me to enjoy. This new album is hard to describe, poppy I suppose, very confrontational at times (I expect nothing less from Natalie Maines), but altogether a very enjoyable listen. I'm surprised they were not recognized in the Grammy nominations this year. They've won a crapload of Grammys though, so it's not a huge travesty, but I thought it was an unusually amazing return from a music group after a hiatus
