Too Naked

She actually isn't nude in AS many of her movies as you maybe think. I once looked, and she actually only has a full-on nude/sex scene (or several) in about half of her movies (she also has some in the two TV series she's been in, but still). I doubt she has an obsession with being naked, it's just something the film/show scripts have her doing frequently, and from there I'm assuming she generally doesn't mind (possibly in some cases added to the script once they see she has the role, but I could be totally wrong). Not sure if this helps what you're asking for, but she's also very conscious about the amount of nudity she has done on screen. She often sees it as almost therapeutic (alongside other aspects of her acting); and I think she even once, more recently, stated that she wanted to cut back on doing sex/nude scenes at least for a while.

You are right that many people now expect her to have a nude/sex scene when they see her on screen, but hopefully I explained things better.

Erm... what? As long as I know, she doesn't write scripts or direct them. And in what movie of hers, you felt nudity was unnecessary or distracting?

Also she's not naked in her most commercially successful films (with an exception of one scene in "300") which are "Casino Royale", "Dark Shadows", "Kingdom of Heaven" and "The Golden Compass". So I doubt general audience expect to see her getting naked or something.

I'd just like to point out that she's a European actress, and that nudity and/or sexuality is considered far less taboo in European film and television than American, to the extent that nudity is quite common even on television in Europe. The quid pro quo for this is of course that excessive and graphic violence is far more acceptable in American cinema, and is much less common in European film and television (though it has undoubtedly become more acceptable in recent years, especially with the rise in popularity of joint European/American series like Penny Dreadful, Rome, Game of Thrones, etc.)

This is probably why I prefer European movies to American films much of the time – because I like the poetic nature of them, the sensuality of them, and the relative lack of violence.

To me, I'd much rather see a naked body than a bruised and beaten one. I'd much rather see a lovemaking scene than a fight scene. And apparently, European filmmakers are the same way. Therefore, it's a real shame that violence has become more common in European films, thanks to what you said – the joint European-American productions.

Viva la sensuality, lovemaking, and beautiful nudity – done in an artistic, lovely way, and down with excessive gore and violent scenes!

B) You seem to have a problem with the natural naked form.

She is beautiful and looks good naked. If the scene demands it she is naked. Infact she has one of the best pair of b obs in hollywood. Look at the likes of gwyneth paltrow, who constantly indulge in cheap talk about her vag ina. Eva Green is classy hot and has a lot of fans who love her naked form. If i was a King and we lived in middle ages, i would have artists make statutes of her in white marble.
