It has to be said..

Woww...I always thought he was British. America can finally chalk one up as a truly gifted performer has made the ranks. He's even taller than Benedict Cumberbatch, at a staggering 6'5". I believe he's so talented he can play just about any role. I loved his performance in The Hobbit films. His screen presence is mesmorizing, with that voice of his and the smoldering stare, combined.

It has to said..That's a lot that's never been said before. 

If he only could get better roles in bigger movies. He's talent really is going to waste in HACF.

reply

HACF is not the worst thing that can happen to an actor, you know. AMC is a respectable cable network and the cast and crew is brilliant.

He's talent really is going to waste in HACF.I don't agree with this, but I have always wondered about his career path. I'm still of the mindset he's made the decisions about his career, as I can't believe he would not be in line for bigger roles.

reply

The "waste" as far as HACF is concerned is the lack of audience. I think it's provided him some of his finest moments as an actor.

reply

I agree. Don't you think it's due to a lot more wonderful male actors in his age range all competing for the same roles? He definitely is not in enough films, for sure.

reply

Concur. I lurk his boards every couple of months and he never has good new project. What's the deal? A lot of pretty, dumb, untalented hacks keep getting movies, and here we have this amazing, hot actor being stagnant, he should be in a lot more movies. Sigh.

reply

I don't think he is particularly picky about projects he takes. He did that Marmaduke movie afterall. Plus, he did audition for a lot of high profile roles though somehow lost out at the end, like Starlord and Kyle Ren. Interestingly, although most of his recent roles are small, he has been handpicked by the directors after seeing his prior performances, like Peter Jackson casted him afrer seeing The Fall, Steven Spielberg after seeing The Ceremony. Hopefully, these directors would remember him in their next projects.

Although HACF have embarrassingly low rating in US, it has good momentum overseas. Lee is magnificant in it and the 180 degree change in the Joe's character between S1 & S2 really shows his range. Someone got to notice that.

He has the look, the height, the voice and most importantly, the acting skills to back him up. The studios have to be blind and dumb if they continue to ignore his talents.
