Lee Pace for James Bond

Shouldn't Bond actually BE British, not just look like one?

It's interesting that the first actors interested in James Bond were American. Barry Nelson played Bond in a 1954 television version of Casino Royale. John Payne actually optioned the first book in 1955 but couldn't get the rights to the series. While I think Lee could play Bond (I think he can play almost anything), the series is now so quintessentially British, he'd never be considered.

Nah ... James Bond is soooo yesterday. I don't see Lee saying "Shaken not stirred" ... Just, no 😏😑

With so many British actors to choose from, there is just zero chance for Lee to get the role. However, I do love to have him in a Bond movie, playing someone helping James Bond, like a CIA agent or something. For next James Bond, my pick is Tom Hiddleston.

I'd say yes but I'm still hoping Richard Armitage gets to play Bond

I'd love to see him as a major bad guy in a Bond movie, with Tom Hiddleston as JB. Pace can play characters either so wonderfully good or terrifyingly evil.
