He's awful.

Every single time he comes on screen he is trying too hard. It's going to be very difficult for anyone to play the joker like Ledger did.

Even if you don't compare the two jokers, you can see Cameron Monaghan is trying too hard and it's unconvincing. Unlike the penguin in the very same show.

That's your opinion and I respect that. I just really enjoyed how he was able to play the Joker the way he should be, scary yet funny at the same time. Jerome actually made me laugh at his jokes, unlike most other adaptations of The Joker.

I agree. I'm a big fan of the Joker, and i'd totally forgive the existence of an origin story over his magnificent performance.
I wouldn't even mind some *beep* twist to bring him back.
This was one great Joker.
