Even as a straight woman I literally cried when Mickey proclaimed "IM GAY" and the look on Ian (Cameron's) face...promptly before they both gave Mickey's BIGOT Dad an ass whopping...One of the most disturbing scenes on TV ever for me was watching Mickey's Dad walk in on Ian and Mickey, grab Mickey and force him to have sex with a prostitute in front of Ian a couple seasons ago...You can't force the gay out of people...Mickey's Dad had it coming...I used to dislike Mickey..now I love him..and at the end when they were out in the snow bleeding and all you could see was Mickey's smile through the blood and Ian gave him a kiss on the head...I bawled like a baby...I f'ing love this show!!!

Why "even as a straight woman"? it's not like straight womans don't have feelings... o.O It's not because you're gay that you'll have a bigger love for gay couples... But yeah this scene was one of the bests, everything was perfect....

Yeah, I'm a straight guy and I don't get wtf she's saying either about the whole straight woman thing. I mean, because I'm a guy I didn't cry like a baby or whatever, but I still thought the scene was awesome.

What am I gonna do... with a gun rack?

I don't have a child but when our neighbour's baby died I cried. How weird huh?

I just discovered this show - just got Showtime. I have been binge watching. It is a great work of art. It speaks to me like no other show (or movie, or book) ever has. The writing is *beep* OUTSTANDING. I see parts of my family (deadbeat dad, unstable mom), helping to pay for electricity, food, etc as a teen, too much to list. Then Ian (Cameron) tells my story. I am gay, strawberry blond (not gorgeous red), and not only wanted to but went to West Point and served 14 years as an Army officer. Luckily I had some of Lip's brains. I'm getting my boyfriend (25 years together) to watch it with me and can't wait till we get to this episode.
