Do we all agree that a skateboard can be a deadly weapon?

I was listening to Smerconish on CNN this morning and a legal expert was saying that Rittenhouse used excessive force on Huber since he only attacked with a skateboard. I think you can do serious damage with a skateboard. Huber initially hit Rittenhouse in the head and that caused Rittenhouse to fall. Huber attacked Rittenhouse again with the skateboard when he was fatally shot. I even argue that a punch can kill when the person falls and hits their head on the pavement. The article below details how a man's spleen was damaged by a skateboard attack and he died a few days later.

I think a lot of people, yourself included, don’t know what you’re dealing with here. These people are evil.

They don’t care about arguing right and wrong. They just care about power. They argue the opposite when someone on their team is accused of the exact same thing. Evil.

This is an example of the pedophile calling the pot black.

Lefties love to slander too but, then again, 'devil' in the Greek literally means slanderer.

So was Kyle suppose to magically resurrect a skateboard from his arse so the 2 could duel American gladiators style?

Don’t look for legal guidance from the communist Democrat party/media at ABCNNBCBS. They don’t care about reality. Just move the ball forward in the name of communism.

reply

Of course it is.

It's moot anyway. A person can resort to lethal force with a firearm against an unarmed attacker if they feel it's necessary. Hundreds of people are murdered every year from impacts from hands and feet. An unarmed person can very easily be a lethal threat.

Anyone who disagrees that a skateboard can be used as a deadly weapon is either a liar or has a fundamental lack of understanding of what a skateboard is comprised of. Ask them if them would want a one on one fight against someone with a skateboard. Not a chance they honestly would.

And yeah, simply a head hitting a pavement can do serious damage/kill. I know someone that was sucker punched and spent a long time recovering in hospital from the impact of hitting the ground.

Eric Clanton got away with 3 years probation for smashing a bike lock into a Trump supporter's head. Seems like violence is perfectly acceptable when you're a democrat.

Did he claim "self defense"? If so, doesn't that work for you?

He's the p.o.s. at the 20 second mark. Note how he is clearly the aggressor.

Good thing he didn't have an AR.

Of course, it can be a deadly weapon, if it is used as one. I think that the link you provided us shows that. And if you are attacked with deadly force, you can respond with deadly force and the law doesn't say you have to use the same type of weapon that you are attacked with.

So, if your attacker uses an edged weapon, or an impact weapon of some type, (a piece of rebar, a pipe, a heavy wrench, or a skateboard) and you have a gun, you are allowed to use the gun to defend yourself. I certainly would.

Mr. Rittenhouse had deadly weapons employed against him--the skateboard in the one case and the pistol in the other, so he was well within his rights to use the rifle that he had to defend himself.

Anyone who says otherwise does not know what they are talking about.

reply

Because when it's night time and there's a riot outside, your first instinct is, 'what a brilliant time to go skateboarding!'

reply

"Anyone who says otherwise does not know what they are talking about."
"And that's all there is to it because I am always right & anyone who says I am not always right doesn't know what they are talking about."

reply

Is that all the answer that you have?

Where do you disagree, if you really do?

reply

Well the POS senile sounding judge probably feels the same way & the defense is hoping the jury does too.

I'd say sarcastically, "Why even have a trial?"
I'll play Nostradamus: you reply, "Finally, you got one right."

And then you just made my point.

reply

My suspicions have been confirmed: you have no answer.

reply

And I knew you would say that. Because you are always right & anyone who says you aren't doesn't know what they are talking about.

reply

Nor am I surprised by your response.

BTW, I have given you a fair chance to answer the point that I raised and you chose not to, so I am done with you.

reply

Well, at least we've got that much in common.
