Rittenhouse is a hero who should be acquitted!

I consider Rittenhouse to be a hero and I hope he is acquitted of all charges. He messed up by not foreseeing the consequences of using his gun and not focusing solely on the mission of
guarding the car dealership. He was trying to be a medic to the looters and rioters while also guarding the dealership from the looters and rioters. Rittenhouse worked at the Kenosha YMCA and he was protecting the city where he worked. Before the shooting, he was observed removing graffiti from the local school. His three attackers all had criminal records.

Rosenbaum started this unfortunate chain of events by chasing after an armed Rittenhouse and he was the first person shot by Rittenhouse. Rosenbaum was released from a psychiatric
facility that day after a suicide attempt and he was aggressively challenging armed men and is caught on video daring them to shoot him. Rittenhouse's shooting of Rosenbaum was clearly
self-defense and Rosenbaum may have wanted to end his life.

Grosskreutz lived 43 miles from Kenosha and was at the riot with the People's Revolution Movement of Milwaukee. I suspect that this group is affiliated with Antifa since they went to
a lot of protests. I don't have any sympathy for Grosskreutz since he approached Rittenhouse with a handgun. There is interesting video below of Grosskreutz pointing at Rittenhouse as he was running away and encouraging the mob to go after Rittenhouse. Huber was part of that mob and he was killed after he attacked Rittenhouse with a skateboard. Another guy in the video kicked Rittenhouse in the head and limped away into the night after being shot. It appears that there were eight or ten people chasing after Rittenhouse but they scattered when he started shooting.

The mob should have followed Rittenhouse and tried to alert the police. Instead, the mostly unarmed mob attacked an armed kid. Rittenhouse had to fire on the mob in order to protect
himself.

The subway guy (name escapes me) actively chased down the muggers and shot them. Rittenhouse was in defensive mode.

EDIT: The guy's name was Goetz and apparently did not chase down the muggers. The controversy is whether Goetz was in any danger as the gang said they were begging for money, Goetz said they were robbing him.

It looks like Goetz was acquitted of the murders but he was found guilty of illegal gun possession. NYC was a shithole back then and it's reverting back to its old state.

This is another good article that details how Rosenbaum was mad about Rittenhouse and others using a fire extinguisher to put out the fire in the dumpster that they were pushing towards police cars. Rosenbaum also had his shirt tied around his face so that would lead me to believe that he intended to steal Rittenhouse's gun. Is there another reason why he would have covered his face with his shirt? Rosenbaum was out of control and should not have been released from the psychiatric facility.

He was foolish to try to be both a guard and a medic. In the video in this link, Rittenhouse is jogging through the street yelling out to anyone to see if they want medical treatment. He has a $1K gun strapped to his body and that's almost like wearing a rolex or a diamond necklace in a dark alley at midnight. He's running down the street basically asking to be robbed but I think he saw himself as a hero.

Watching the news on this trial. I'd say the idiots who were killed got what they deserved, this case should have never gone to trial all the witnesses brought forward have backed Rittenhouse. He should get off because this was self defense.
