For people who claim to know a lot about accents

Most of you don't, just face it. People will give crap to actors for speaking in their natural accent as "fake." It happens much more often than you think. Does anyone realize that Modern New England and New England when the movie takes place are totally different?

Something tells me, if Hemsworth was playing an Australian and no one knew he was, people would still find something wrong with it. Even though, I don't remember anyone having issues when he was in Star Trek or Cabin in the Woods. Honestly, all of his accents have been just fine, it seems like people are REALLY reaching just saying it's bad. They have to find something to complain about, or are obsessed with another actor and are jealous in the worst way. You go on 3-4 message boards to talk about how someone "sucks," then you are jealous and weird.

The fact is he has a deep voice, so THAT tone and base will come through just about everytime. Johnny Depp's voice always sounds like him, even when he's putting on a British accent. This is not taking account when Phillip Seymour Hoffman was Capote, completely different way of speaking.

The fact is, these twitter trolls and puffed up critics have ruined movies. Back in the "golden age" of cinema there would be people talking about Jimmy Stewart seeming like a wuss, or Clark Gable as "WHY IS THIS GUY FAMOUS AGAIN?" The internet has given all these bitter people a loud voice when they have the option to not see a damn movie or ignore an actor they don't like.
