They all have their fair share of flops. Whether this streak of flops kills his career is anyone's guess. I'd lean on having his career die down for a while.
I agree that he's had a bad run the last year and a half. However the common mistake people have been making is saying that Cap movies have ALWAYS been better than Thor movies.
Well, only 1 so far really. Thor the first movie, was better received and out performed the first Cap movie. Yes in the second phase, Cap took that honour. So the score is 1 All at the moment, until we can compare when the third Thor movie comes out. Although I still think it's a bit unfair to compare them anyway. It's not like it's Cap with a couple of friends, like Falcon and Bucky. He has half or most of the Avengers to help bring the crowds in.
It seems from what he's said that apart from playing Thor coming up, he's looking for a smaller movie and waiting for the right one.
Downey was in weird science.... and he is the highest paid actor in history now at 75 mil a year, Chris Helmsworth is 8th at 50 mil and that ain't bad. What do you pull down a year?
