Did anyone else think he was Kevin Corrigan?

Be honest! Did anyone connect his name with "that" guy in Superbad and Pineapple Express and think the person going by the name Danny McBride was really Kevin Corrigan (the cousin in The Departed plus those Apatow movies)? I think the other guy is more memorable, and for the life of me couldn't understand why this dude was somehow deemed marquee-name famous alongside Rogen and Franco in PE. They built him up like he was some already famous star or poised to breakout like McLovin did, and he did neither. For some reason they still think he's some uber leading man and I keep expecting to see the dude who ran around with Craig Robinson.
