Always knew that he would eventually get his own show

I just saw a preview of a new series being released on the USA network this summer and I knew I recognized the guy playing one of the two leads. It's none other than Patrick Adams.

If you scroll down to the post that says "Gorgeous", you'll notice that I left that post back in 2005 having seen Patrick Adams on the short-lived drama "Jack & Bobby". I knew that there was something special about this guy(other than him being unbelievably handsome) and I remember the amazing performance he gave playing a gay teen who committed suicide after telling his best friend that he was in love with him.

I'm not surprised that he finally got his own show. Just surprised that it took 6 years before it happened. Congratulations Mr. Adams. I will be tuning into "Suits" this summer!

Haha I saw him on Lost and loved him in Christmas in Boston. While watching The Notebook tonight, they gave a preview of the show and I was like, "WOW! It's about time he gets his own show".

Good call! I made the same call about someone on their board and then he got his own successful show - for 5 years and counting. I hope Adams' show works out for him. I like it a lot so far.

Last week I was watching his episode of Ghost Whisperer again and it occurred to me how much I love that episode and Adams' role in it, so it was a funny coincidence to see the promos for Suits right after that.

I first saw Patrick when he was in 'Old School' it was only a small role but I thought he was hot, and kind of shallow of me (I know..) I checked his IMDB to see if he had been in anything else. I've since checked back here now and then over the years, and seeing his guest roles on some of the shows I watch was great, but I wished he'd get his own show, or star in a decent film, because he really is a great actor.
Suits isn't on over here in England yet, but I've seen the first two eps online, (I know, I'm bad for watching it online, but how else would I be able to see it?) and I'm enjoying it so far, of course I'm loving Patrick in it. I'm really happy for him!
I just hope it does well in the US, so it continues.. unlike some other shows I watched, liked, and then found out they'd been cancelled.. =/
And I hear he's going to be in a show with the legendary Dustin Hoffman, Nick Nolte and Michael Gambon. =]

I loved him ever since that episode too! You have good taste. It was such an intense episode and he was amazing.

I will admit that I am not enamoured with Suits. But I love his character. The only guy on the show who doesn't behave like an immature frat boy. I hope that it works out for Adams as well.
