Rest in peace
A truly misunderstand hardworking family man who wanted the best for his kids. Most of what you hear about him from his kids was unverrified anyway.
Michael for example used to throw little fits as a preteen that if Joe didn't do exactly what he said he'd stop performing. This is well known from behind the scenes people in an investigative documentary on Michael Jackson's life. He was a brat as a child and an irresponsible adult who spent foolishly, had questionable relationships with young boys and had addiction issues. If Joe ever beat him it was to instil some sense. Michael Jackson would have been a nobody without Joe.
Joe deserves some credit.
