Sienna in Factory Girl...

I saw the film 'Factory Girl' for the first time and I was struck by how much Sienna resembled the real Edie Sedgwick. I've looked at some of the photographs of the real Edie alongside the film-stills and they're almost identical.

Also her performance in the film was superb. I'd never thought much of Sienna Miller before seeing the film but it gave me more respect for her as an actress.
What do you think?

Sienna was terrific in Factory Girl.

I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!

I agree MovieGirl. Something about her in that film made me just love her as an actress. I think she deserved more credit and still does!

I didn't really rate Sienna as an actress before seeing her in Factory Girl but I thought her performance here was first-rate. She's captivatingly beautiful too and it was difficult to take your eyes off her.

Incidentally, in the scenes when she was being interviewed by her therapist, i.e. when her hair was long and dark and her make-up minimal, she reminded me so much of Marisa Tomei in appearance and facial expressions.

she is so average looking, If she was a brunette i bet people wouldn't consider her 'stunning'

^ What does people thinking she's "stunning" have to do with the question posed in this thread? The OP asked about her performance in Factory Girl, not if you thought her looks are overrated.

Looks, beauty and sexiness are all subjective anyway. There are loads of people who I don't find stunningly beautiful but others do. They don't have to share my opinion and I don't think their differing opinions is based in anything except their own perception. All these "She's so ordinary" posts on actress' boards who a lot of people think are attractive are so fuc*ing tiresome. Being ugly or even "average" is hardly the worst thing to be in the world so why that's the go to insult for every woman is beyond me. Who the hell cares if someone who doesn't make their living as a model isn't your cup of tea. Find someone you like and focus on them.
