Jewish Ghislaine Maxwell arrested. She was allegedly hiding out in Israel, but was arrested in NH.

I was just curious why that was mentioned. If she was Protestant, Catholic, Urdu, etc., would it have been mentioned?

Unless OP meant Israeli, but I don't think she was born in Israel or is a citizen.

It's not like she's a religious leader. If she's Jewish at all, I doubt she's Orthodox given her past. If she was Catholic, would the OP have called her "Catholic Ghislaine Maxwell"?

Just smacks of anti-Semitism and giving the OP an opportunity to clarify.

I think it's referring to her race as opposed to her religion. And she's seeking asylum in Israel based on her Jewishness so I think it's relevant.

Maybe, but on-line info says she was born in France to a French mother and Czechoslovakian father, raised in England and is a dual citizen of England and the U.S. Her father's family was Jewish and her mother's Christian. Her only tie in to Israel seemed to come after getting in trouble with Epstein.
