I am a rock believer!

I like the new album Rock Believer. The first couple of tracks were not memorable but they could grow on me. Rock believer is an anthemic feel good song. Peacemaker is a fast rocker and When you know is a classic ballad that isn't sappy. Some of the other deep cuts that stood out on my first listen were Knock 'Em Dead, SOS, Seventh Sun, Call of the Wild and Crossing Borders.

I think they need a lyricist for rock songs since Roots in My Boots is an odd choice for a
song title and chorus. James Kottak and Herman Rarebell were both decent lyricists. I have no problem with Klaus writing lyrics about peace and love. I also wish they would go back to having more backing vocals from the band on the tracks since it sounds like Klaus's voice is the only one featured on the choruses. Klaus's voice is still solid but the choruses would be more powerful with backing vocals.
