The new edina monsoon?

I don't think that show is going to do so well....

She's about the last actress I could imagine playing loud and ever-high Edina. Plus, she seems too young for the part. Kristen Johnson's choice for Patsy is, on the other hand, perfect. Not much chemistry between those two will happen, I'm afraid.

Uh not at all. Jennifer Saunders was 34 when she did Ab Fab back in 1992. Hahn is 35 years old. Not too young at all.

Both Hahn & Johnston are about the exact ages as Lumley and Saunders, so find another arguement as to why it won't be good. As for chemistry, have you ever seen anything with both Hahn and Johnston in it? Nope. So how do you know if they really do have chemistry?

I loved the original so much, I'll give this a try. I can actually see both of them in these roles, I just don't know how well this show will do here. Part of the charm was the UK idiosyncracies, which won't translate....
