shareErm, it's a "grindhouse" movie, not a RSC production. Have you never watched a horror movie before?? Zoe Bell may not have an acting talent equivalent to De Niro, but I found her to be very natural and I liked her character. She might just be playing herself, but Nicholas Cage has forged a career from doing the exact same, and she seems to be a very likeable person anyway.
shareI agree with metal tastic. I believe she did a good job, and as said before; it is supposed to resemble a grindhouse movie, not a WB or Touchstone movie.
Zoë is amazingly nice in person and has a wonderfully wacky sense of humor. And let's see De Niro act on the hood of a car doing 80 MPH. :)
shareI thought she was a good actress, too. The scene in the diner was one of the longest takes I've ever seen in a movie (unless there were hidden cuts I don't know about), and you can't pull that kind of thing off without some real acting skills.
shareShe did a great job ANNOYING THE *beep* OUT OF EVERYONE!!!!!!!!
shareWatch "El Secreto de Sus Ojos" for a longer and more involving take/scene. Or "Irreversible", where every scene is one single take (including the extremely violent scenes). Many European films involve scenes where there are limited cuts.
shareYeah. But none of these European movies is a grindhouse tribute/parody. So...
