Trespass Against Us in Canada

I'd wanted to see TAU but since it's a small indie and I live a million miles from any of the big film festivals I figured I'd have to wait til it came out on dvd in March. BUT, my local Canadian cable company (Shaw) has it available On-Demand. It's not under New Releases where I usually look, but under See It First.

So I got to watch it last night and it was fantastic. The accents are a little hard to understand in places, which just gives me an excuse to watch it again!! Michael and Brendan Gleason are electric and the actress who plays is wife is very good. If you have the chance check it out. I was very impressed.

Agreed! I was able to purchase it (streaming) from amazon.com. It's a nice change of pace for him--maybe the closest to Fish Tank of films he has done lately. I didn't get all the dialogue because of the accents, but I got most of it, and it doesn't matter anyway in the comprehension of the film.

Agreed. I'd like to see him do more films / stories like this.
