Ford likens Trump to Hitler -- which reveals him as an intolant jerk

An article in Out, proclaiming Ford "Artist of the Year":

For a man of such sangfroid, it must have been extra painful to watch Donald Trump during the debates. Ford winces and momentarily loses his studied composure, thumping the table with one hand in time to his words: “What. If. He. Wins!?” He likes Trevor Noah’s “Cinnamon Hitler” sobriquet for the Republican nominee and believes Trump’s populist demagoguery has been nurtured by America’s failing education system. “Unfortunately, a lot of people are not educated enough to realize that he actually doesn’t have a plan, cannot even make a sentence, and that’s where we have failed as a country — through education.”
It's fine that Ford opposes Trump, but he's saying people who, God forbid, find Trump a better option (or at least less odious) than Hillary...those people are ignorant dupes who are marching to the beat of the nascent Reich.

Ford exhibits the condescending, bigoted intolerance that's tearing the nation apart. In his delusion of superiority, he thinks he's trying to address America's problem with his ugly rhetoric, but in fact he's part of the problem.

I'm not trying to boost Trump here; I'm looking for the big picture. A Trump (or some other outsider) rises because he fills a vacuum: The Republican Party leadership had fallen out of touch with the people, so something else came in. And the same thing happened on the Democrat side, which is why the outsider Bernie got such a burst of enthusiasm. Except the Democrat contest was weighted with superdelegates, so the Party kept control; the Republican contest had a split vote and didn't have its thumb on the scale, so the outsider won. I don't blame Trump on a sick heartland; I blame an out-of-touch elite on both sides of the aisle, who think they are above We the People. And if that makes me an ignorant neo-Nazi in these eyes of the Tom Fords of the world...well, Ford is a self-deluded jerk.

People who voted for Trump are idiots, can't argue with that fact.

I saw an interview in which Ford described himself as someone who rose out of that red state world and claimed to know those people (i.e. working-class conservative Trump supporters).

The way he spoke, I thought he might have been some 'working-class hero' (who discovered his 'superior virtue' by moving to New York/California), but reading his Wikipedia page I see he is the son of well-to-do realtors, that he lived in Austin (which is a relatively liberal enclave within the otherwise highly conservative Texas), and that he attended prep and private schools.

I'm not knocking Ford or his politics, which I happen to mostly support, even if I don't agree with the hyperbole and contempt with which he describes those voters who don't agree with him. But I do think Ford should perhaps check his upper-middle-class privilege (and I'm referring to where he came from, not where he is now, as a member of the elite). He benefited from superior education and social privilege. Moreover, it's a bit rich for someone who dropped out of two colleges to lecture others on education.

Long shot here since you're a Republican, but by any chance are you gay, bi, single and seeking a boyfriend with the right guy? I ask because I think you're beautiful. I'm a single, 30-year-old gay male seeking a boyfriend. I stand 5'9 and weigh 165 pounds and have always been in good physical condition. I've always led a healthy, straight-edge lifestyle: never smoked, never drank, never done drugs, am disease-free and have no criminal history to speak of. I've always been the monogamous, relationship-oriented type, never one for hook-ups nor friendships with benefits. I'm a masculine-acting top. I have single-file, pearly white teeth; clear skin; and 20/20 vision.

I'm plenty educated having my Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications with a focus in Journalism and Advertising, my Minor in Sociology and my Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts. I drive and have a vehicle. I was born, raised and live here in the Milwaukee, WI area.

I hit you up because you looked like a guy who met all of my criteria. My criteria is as follows: ages 21 to 33, height/weight proportionate (neither fat nor chubby, but rather average in build or thick), non-smoker, non-dug user, disease-free (no cold sores, no HIV disease, no AIDS, no nothing), a bottom, no one with any serious criminal history, no jacked up teeth, relationship-oriented (someone look for love, who is faithful and who has never cheated on a previous boyfriend), respectful, knows what they want, etc.
