I do hope so, i loved his character.
Obviously i didn't like pornstache, but as a character he was brilliant and i loved watching him.
If his character was supposed to end with his commupance, then it was pretty rubbish.

Pablo will not be in season 3 of OITNB.
He's currently filming for the soon-to-be HBO comedy "The Brink".
However if for whatever reason The Brink ends up not working out, he said (in his own words of course) that he would be open to returning as Mendez, especially since the character is so popular.
I have mixed feelings personally; on one hand he REALLY needs to have a starring role on a TV show that actually lasts longer than one season. Plus he's a funny guy and it would be nice to see him being funny AND the good guy for a change.
On the other hand his role as Mendez was awesome and I'm definitely gonna miss him next season. . . .
I like and hate his character at the same time.
I like him because he is just so funny in that cheesy porn tash way but i hate the way he let the girl die of an overdose and showed absolutely no remorse in any way. Even if she was a prisoner the show does well to show you how normal people like me and you could just end up at the wrong place at the wrong time and end up in jail but that they are just not that different from many of us and she definitely did not deserve to die the way she did and then be hung up the way he did and show absolutely no feelings of guilt about it afterwards, instead he is in the bar drinking with John and complaining how his feelings get hurt all the time.
At the same time i don't think he would have deserved Reds plan to say he raped someone either.
I loved the way they brought him back though after he had been fired, that scene was awesome.
