I'm a fan of both Weeds and Orange. I didn't make the connection until I looked him up. NO WAY! That says a lot about his range. He is super great in both (completely different) roles. Good job!

Unfortunately (and he kind of mentioned this in an interview once) that his role of Demetri was more about the sex appeal (not that I'm complaing!) with not as much emphasis on his acting range. I think that's the ONLY role I've ever seen him in where his main focus was on just playing the eye candy.
Demetri was a great character and I loved watching him on screen (the sex scenes were the best) but his character really didn't do anything particularly ground breaking or jaw dropping other than being attractive and the character wasn't really deep either.
Compare that to his role as Mendez on OITNB who is much more complex, you know?
I really appreciate that about Pablo though. He knows he's attractive (I mean he HAS to at this point ) and that if he felt like going down that road, he could just play the "hot-dumb" guy over and over again but he's SOOO much better than that and he goes for the bigger and better more complex roles, even if that means playing someone who the audience totally loathes (like his character on SVU).

Also was Nick on The Wire. He's a great actor.
It annoys me when people continuously accuse him of only playing villainous roles.
He's played SOOOO many characters throughout his career and he's an incredibly versatile actor, to only recognize him for playing two bad people is really an insult to his craft.
