He really made me hate him...

...on the Law & Order S.U.V. May 2013 season finale. Chilling creep.

No kidding. Fantastic actor. I totally want to throttle that character and make him suffer. Well played.

If you really want to hate him some more, watch Orange is the New Black on Netflix. He plays a total creep.

I have a new philosophy. I'm only going to dread one day at a time.

Lol no way, pornstache is the most entertaining character on the show!

I agree 100%. Watching SUV the dude made me want to jump into the tv and stick an ice pick into his temple. I thought "there is no way I can possibly see him in another role and not hate him".

Then I saw him in Weeds; where he played another creepy dude, but not as bad as SVU.
Now I'm watching him in Orange/Black and he's playing another dirtbag. Guess he's really found his character type.

Just once I'd like to see if he can pull of a nice guy role. Any suggestions?

The fact that he has played so many sadistic characters makes me wonder if some event badly hurt him when he was growing up. Seems like he is tapping into a wellspring of rage. Poor bebbeh, he just needs some sweet, sweet lovin' from yours truly.

He plays a decent guy on Season 2 of The Wire, check it out. Very good actor.

It's really disheartening to hear people disliking an actor solely based off of the character(s) they play.

Pablo has played a mix of different characters throughout his career; good, bad and neutral. The problem is I don't think a lot of people care enough to take it upon themselves to look up other things he's appeared in.

In between filming for SVU and OITNB he played a "good guy" (a detective actually) on the show "Ironside", which actually aired after SVU on Wednesdays on NBS. While his acting (in my opinion) was very well done and believable, the show itself got low ratings and got canceled after just a handful of episodes were aired.

He's an extremely talented actor and I'd personally put him up there with Denzel Washington or Marlon Brando. Anything this guy is in, any time he's on screen, he has your full attention.

I first saw him as Patrick Wilson's sister's spiritual boyfriend on the TV series "A Gifted Man". He was a nice guy there.
