just saw her in Notes On A Scandal and i thought that she was adorable, pretty, and a good actress, but was curious to know why her hair is SOOOO curly/kinky. i know she's British and it looks like she's White, but her hair makes it seem like she's Arabic or part Arabic...

i don't believe they curled it for the movie. really curly caucasian hair is different from really curly hair that looks kinda African or middle eastern. and she's not a redhead. brunettes can have very curly hair and still be white, but in her case her hair texture resembles mine and i'm half black (not saying she is, but just insinuating something of the sort.)

Beg to differ. Having red hair doesn't mean it's curly. I'm one of 11 kids. Eight of us have red hair. Only about two of us have curly hair. Is all blonde hair curly? Shirley Temple's was.
