Just watched 12 rounds

I just watched 12 Rounds and have to say Ashley Scott is one awful actress, even John Cena was better, he may not be the best actor in the world but at least he tries. I was hoping at the end he would give her a the FU.

I happen to really like her acting. But let me share a little quote with you:

...little things can affect peoples lifes in a big way, a selfless act can give you the feeling of making the world a little better for someone else.

If the words sound familiar, they are yours.

So in reading that, can you tell me how you sharing your opinion on how awful you think Ashley is as an actress, how that makes the world a little better? Perhaps you might want to refer back to your quote and try and make the world a little better instead of insulting someone I happen to really like.

Just a thought...

To be fair i did change my quote before i sent the first message, as it did contradict myself so changed quote to one i prefered. I will thank Ernest for that :-)

So my original rant stands. Sorry if you liked her but in 12 rounds and Jerico i thought she was rubbish.

I haven't actually seen 12 Rounds yet but I do enjoy Ashley's acting. I think she has interesting facial expressions that really draw me into her characters. Do I think she's Oscar worthy? No, not yet, but I see potential in her. I enjoy watching how she acts on screen and I think she's better than many of the people I see on tv/movies.

So my original rant stands too. I think it's counterproductive to come on a message board just to announce you think someone sucks and it doesn't help to better the world to make such a statement. We are all entitled to our opinions but to me, visiting a board just to say someone is 'rubbish' really makes me feel sad for how society is today.

Now I'm not expecting anyone to better the world by using a message board, but it would have been nice to have seen something positive mixed into your post as well. I don't visit different boards just to announce that I dislike someone and I don't understand why others feel the need to do so.

You don't have to like Ashley. You really don't. But why you feel the need to visit her board and announce that you think she's a terrible actress is beyond me. I find it a shame. And think there are better ways to spend ones time.

And I'll share my opinion on something - I think "It's a Wonderful Life" was boring

I cant believe you said that, A Wonderful Life is one of my Favourite film ever.
Take that back lol.

Fair enough i should not come on here and say someone sucks, maybe i should spend my time on discussing the good things on Cinema or tv.

O well we will agree to disagree.

What are your favourite films?

What are your favourite films?

If I told you my favorite films, you'd probably insult them. But I'll do it anyway:

Top 5:
1. The Lost Boys
2. Bad Boys (1)
3. Jaws (1)
4. Jurassic Park (1)
5. The Rock

As for my fave tv shows, Birds Of Prey is one of my top choices. I loved Ashley in there. Yes, there were times when the acting could use work but it was also one of the first major rolls Ashley got, and she was just starting to learn her craft. But there were some episodes where she would give subtle little facial expressions that just suited her character so well. A little smirk, or the slightest raise of her brow when Huntress was being a smartass, I loved it.

I did enjoy watching Jericho as well. But Ashley as Huntress will always be my favorite.

I can't really comment on your fave movie "It's A Wonderful Life"... truth is, I never saw it. I'm not one for the classics... although Jaw is considered one... just not on the same genre.

I not going to insult your favourite films, as i have seen all and liked them all, Jaws is brilliant.

To be honest i am a massive fan of Horror especially 70s and 80s slasher films, so i imagine most of the living world would insult my taste lol.

But my favourite 10 films in no order are:

Aliens
Wonderful Life
Halloween
The Thing
Die Hard
Brotherhood (korean film)
Black Christmas (original)
Jaws
My Cousin Vinny
The Spiral Staircase (well worth the watch but a very old film)

Tv i love comedy and the the Band Of Brothers Series, Fantastic.

Thou i am still young i like to enjoy all Genre of Films,.

I think before i come on here and insult somebody or film.
