I was ready to kick the radio when I heard that. They had a few other artists on there who I totally disagreed with. Alanis Morisette, Jim Morrison,etc. Who is making up these lists for the worst, the hottest, the sexiest?(rhetorical question)

shareBlender BEEN hatin' on Com. did a list on him a year or so ago, calling him one of the 25 Biggest Wussies in Rock (this was after the Electric Circus album and before BE, btw). i don't even know when the last time i've heard somebody say "wuss," so that's lame. second, they obviously did no research on the man before they popped off articles saying such crap.
the viewpoints of anyone making the lists for that magazine hold no weight with me, because it's pretty clear they're completely ignorant to the history of Common's music and their opinions of him seem to be pretty biased anyways.
what does being white have to do with it? what, so because somebody's white it means they don't like rap but enjoy boy bands?

well tbh, MOST white guys I know(and I know many) are into boybands such as "Mychemical Romance", "Muse", "The Killers", "Razorlight", etc. You would never catch em listening rap music. So, I understand his assumption or understanding if u like.
shareYes it is true that in the age category of males 18-25 2/3 of all Hip-Hop/Rap Music sales go to white males. That aside, I think it's a steamy load of bull that Common was one of the worst lyricists of all time. I don't see how it's possible at all, he has some of the most influential and thought provoking lyrics of any musician of our time. I too would like to know where the basis for Blender's list making decision came from.
