Height?

Does anyone know how tall Common really is? His bio page on IMDB indicates that he is 6'0 1/2" but he looks shorter than Erika Badu and Serena in the photos with the article. I know some agents like to "pad" actors' and actresses' height or lower ages and such but it's rather obvious in this case. There is no way he is over six feet tall unless all the women he's dated are walking around on stilts.

I saw him up close at a meet-and-greet a few years ago. I'm 5'11" and he's a solid inch taller than I was.

I'm also 5'11 and met him at the mtv movie awards and he was at least an inch shorter than I and I was wearing Van's

What does "and I was wearing VANS" mean?
