One of the only ways to fight racism is to ridicule it. And with 2 broke girls, nobody gets out unharmed.
If some African american, or somebody with genomic ancestry estimated to be originated in Africa, feels offended by it, ok, but if not, so what. It is still theirs to do so.
Many of my friends, including asians and blacks, have no problems whatsoever with the show, but with the general discussion about racism. Crying the same song all over again, most people don´t feel offended by it but by the double standards underneath.
I know enough privileged white chicks who cry out over racism on tv but instantly change the side of the street when they see a group of black teens.
It´s like the hippster typing his mainstream criticism and capitalism-bashing on his brand new Mac-book.
...but they hung him anyway.
