Nicole causes a little girl to literally collapse into

the most heart-rending, gut twisting sobs ever. And then Nicole treats us all to an eye dabbing flood of crocodile tears, covering her face, turning away from the camera, refusing to comment, (in short making a shameless scene of herself,) as though ~oh so~ devastated with the result of her spinelessly voting to deadlock. Newflash~it was the kid that deserved to be the center our of attention at that moment, and you go all drama queen on us? Watching the "I don't know how to vote" performance wasn't enough? Retch, hurl. Spare us the crap Scherzinger. I taped the last few weeks and just fast forwarded to watch the contestants, mainly because I couldn't stomach Nicole's nauseating, blithering, theatrical commentary. I never could figure out why they dumped the Scottish gal the first few weeks into the show, at least she seemed genuine.

Tonight was the last night for me this season; if they bring Scherzinger back next year, it'll be the last time I ever tune in.

Yeah, I guess you could say I'm not a Nicole fan. And is it me, or does she seem like she's half in the bag most the time?

reply

Completely agree.
Why be a judge if you can't have an opinion?

reply

Oh, give it a rest. Simon even said after the show that Nicole was definitely distraught. If she wasn't, she deserves an Oscar. And Nicole definitely didn't steal the show; Rachel's breakdown did.

And Cheryl is English, not Scottish.

I thought Nicole was completely genuine, and she was NOT the cause of Rachel Crow's elimination. Had Rachel won the popular vote she would still be in the competition. As for Rachel histrionics being "gut wrenching": if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. One of the reasons I am not a fan of X-Factor is that they allow the young and very young to compete. Children cannot handle that much pressure (as Rachel proved) and could be traumatized for life, all for America's entertainment.

People--especially children--who can't handle losing shouldn't compete.

reply

My humble apologies. I stand corrected. I was confused by her Northen accent.

reply

"All for Americas entertainment"

Uh this was on a show intended for British audiences
