Lyndsy Fonseca is one who can look vastly older then she is with makeup. And I think she hasn't filmed HIMYM in a long long time and all the footage of her as the "daughter" were filmed like 5 years ago. So Lyndsy can indeed go on to the show years later, and be the "mother".

Or they can play it the other direction and have her be yet another "not-the-mother". People would really be thrown off cause, well she looks exactly the same (or slightly different with mature makeup) as the "daughter".

you know she's so much older than she was when she filmed those scenes, and looks even older with makeup, it could totally work. I think that would be pretty genius.

Though as soon as she entered the cast, it would probably give away that she was gonna end up being the mom!
