They were neighbors in season 1. Peggy is moving to the west coast this year.
And they moved in together at the end of season 1. It would be easy for the writers to move Angie to Hollywood with Peggy, particularly as Angie is an aspiring actress.
So clearly there is something else going on in production that Angie is not around.
Yeah its a bit weird. I assumed the whole point of going to LA in season 2 was due to Angie getting an acting job in Hollywood. Guess not.
