That is an interesting question that I have sometimes wondered on actors/actresses imdb boards. Usually when an unknown actress gets their big break, suddenly everyone knows about them within a few days and you get new fans.

But anyway to answer your question, I was a fan of Lyndsy when she was on the soap "The Young & Restless, she played Colleen Carlton. Quite a few videos up on Youtube of her character. From then on, it was nice to see her do well in her career by doing primetime TV shows and then movies.

I have became a fan around the time How I met your mother started. Her being in that got me to watch ordinary miracles. In the last two or three years I have been able to become a bigger fan since she has started getting a lot more work.

She was actually that, "I know her from somewhere" actress. I think I first saw her from HIMYM, and always thought, hey the daughter's pretty hot and didnt think much of it. Then saw her on Kick-Ass but didnt really know it was her and thought she was pretty hot and kind of looked familiar but didnt think much of it. Then I recently started watching Nikita and Alex became my facorite character on the show and then it hit me, "hey she looks really familiar" and now I finally know her name. Lol

That's who she was to me as well, b530. I knew who she was before Nikita, but it wasn't until Nikita that I became a fan.
