I find it hard to conceive that an already rich actress, with consistent work, would even think of prostituting herslf? I don't get it, its bizarre. Did she speak out against the Chinese government or someting? lol:)

The amount of money she makes per film clearly isn't enough to satiate her, which is probably why she's only dated/scammed multi-billionaires since making it big. And I don't think this is only about money, but influence and power. Why do you think the Chinese government is trying so damned hard to erase all mentions on Weibo and other sites of Zhang Ziyi and all the men she slept with?
She wouldn't get rich to the level of $100 million dollars just from her acting.

shareAll out of jealousy. Some Chinese are very jealous if someone from their country make it big overseas. This happened to Joan Chen and Gong Li years ago.
2 years ago they failed to bring her down with the charity accusations; so now they try again with some other allegations. It's to her advantage this time, many Chinese & Taiwanese people are supporting her now.
Are you kidding? If her name legitimately come up in connection to Bo Xilai in any way at all, she is going to be on the hot seat. Not matter what the truth is, he is going to taint everyone around him. Personally, I think it is more along the lines of he now has to explain to his government, thanks to his possibly-murderous and nut-job wife, where hundreds of millions of dollars went to.

I just hope she did not have any business with him (or worse, his wife) besides prostitution. If she did then she is in for a world of hurt. But given her troubles with alleged missing funds from the earthquake charity, which justifiably upset folks, she certainly has some publicity issues.

First off its nobodies business who she chooses to sleep with. Its nobodies business if those men are billionaires, she wouldn't be the first attractive woman to date rich men. I'm just questioning why somebody with a lot of money would resort to prostitution? That's all.

I said in a previous post that this has to do with the fact her name come up in connection to Bo Xilai. Given her dodgy charity history any fiscal anomalies will raise a red flag anyway. But any connection with Bo Xilai or more so, his wife, is doubly damning. Lots here are trying to make a big Chinese conspiracy here but if there is, it is connected to Bo Xilai and not her. She is collateral damage. The only issues they've had with her is over the earthquake charity. And rightfully so. As to sites being shut down, that is reaching. Not that China shut sites down. They do that with an unapologetic, draconian-like glee. But connecting the reason they do it is because of her fame is a ludicrous reach.
As to why a rich woman would "prostitute" herself I'd say the reasons are many and varied. Daddy issues? Flattery perhaps? I mean, if someone offered me a million dollars for sex, I'd not only say yes but I'd say yes feeling really good about myself. Not worse.
Some women will not have sex unless there is something in return. Not just reciprocating the affection (if there is any) but a physical manifestation of that affection. Flowers, dinner, dates, gifts. Things to show you are interested. That you care. That you think she is worth >$this$< much to you. If you are too cheap, then they are not interested. It is how rich guys get so lucky so often.
But it is the same throughout the animal kingdom.
