In the past, Radiohead has faced pressure to cancel shows in Israel and take part in a cultural boycott of the country over its policies towards the Palestinians.
Yorke pushed back on that pressure, saying that "playing in a country isn't the same as endorsing its government".
Becoming a millionaire seems to do that to people. Radiohead has some great albums but Thom Yorke has been flopping it for awhile ever since he lost the ability to hit high notes and tried to reinvent himself as some wannabe bebop scat man. His opinion now is about as relevant as his singing.
You kidding me? The problem to me really is the falsettos and high notes. Sometimes I wish he go a little but full voice like he used to in early albums.
That doesn't mean they support what they do. Where do we draw the line? I don't recall anyone demanding to avoid Muslim countries after 9/11 or the London bombings or the attacks on Russian city hall that killed 145 people or any of these events: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Islamist_terrorist_attacks
And if you can't shame a millionaire with a platform, who can you shame?

Great retort, especially the end where she criticises the muslim girl for playing the victim.
She does forget to mention, though, that a very large group of that "peaceful majority" does support the deadly actions by those few radicals. They're not exactly irrelevant, they allow those things to happen.
You would think with how many Muslims there are in the world, you would at least see some of them forming groups. It's almost like they're scared to go against their own people.
Israel was only formed in the 1940s and a lot of Muslims have been killed in the establishment and expansion of that state.
Irrespective of anyone's politics, it's not hard to see that your aren't going to get any Muslims actively supporting that state. The best maybe would be those that would accept the two state solution.
But on the other hand, whilst all Zionists may be Jewish, the converse doesn't necessarily have to exist, so it's hardly surprising to find that some Jewish people will be supportive of Palestinian rights.
I don't think it's paranoia. The Muslims hate them in a very real way and wish they didn't exist, due to what I was saying in my previous post...
But anyway, I wasn't trying to dive into another (ultimately pointless) discussion re Israel per se. Was just pointing out it would be pretty unrealistic to aspect to see any Muslim groups rallying for Israel.
It makes no sense for muslims in Europe or Asia to display such hatred towards Jews. Israel would not be out to "get them". It's a sentiment that's deeper and goes back further than just the foundation of the state Israel.
If you did not conflate Jews with Israel, you'd have to have written:-
It makes no sense for muslims in Europe or Asia to display such hatred towards Israel.
But then that wouldn't work because obviously it makes perfect sense to expect to see such hatred towards Israel, given the ongoing slaughter.

I was just appreciating your deliberate conflation to try and mask what Muslims in "Europe or Asia" showing a displeasure with Israel was all about and why it actually makes perfect sense.
I'm not really interested in arguing the point with you, I just found it funny 👍.
No. Like I said I found YOU and your deliberate conflation funny. I even quoted you and highlighted your deliberate misleading word choice. Muslims running about in Europe displaying hatred towards Jews! LOL, yeah sure, we're all seeing that rather than protests against Israel aren't we... 🤡
As I said, I wasn't attempting to humilitate you again by pointing out your daftness (obviously I understand your position on the matter), I just found the primary school level conflation so transparently obvious it was funny.
Surprised you didn't call all protesters, Muslim or not, Hamas supporters as well 🤣.
Anyway if you want to continue doing your usual back and and forth, until the other person gets bored of your repetition, to secure yourself (yet another) magnificent victory (in your own head!) then please feel free to do so. But that's good enough for me here.
You only highlighted bullshit that exists in your head. *I* was referring to their hatred towards Jews, not Israel, which is a misleading claim that *you* keep making.
Bitch, you lost the minute you replied to me. Go cry somewhere else.🍆🍆🍆
Anti Israel is NOT the same thing as being anti Jewish. Trying to claim one as the other is conflation. And THIS is an absolutely perfect example you have given here...
I did not reply to you, I was addressing people with at least one brain cell
But talk about "not getting it". You obviously did not read the article. The muslims mentioned conflated Israel with Jewish, you freaking trollboy. Everybody gets this except you.
Now go take a look in the mirror and laugh at your ugly ass.
Oh I got your were making a cowardly attempting to try and avoid replying directly with your shit point.
But like I said, I'm glad you made it. You'd be hard pressed to find a better example of the conflation you were doing and exactly what I was talking about.
Only an absolute moron would believe it some kind of miraculous coincidence that on the same night that Israeli football hooligans were going about destroying property, chanting about killing Arabs and kids in Gaza, booing during a minutes silence for victims of the Spanish floods, etc that some Muslims randomly decided they were going to start attacking Jews in the same city, on the same night! 😂
Honestly, it's so utterly stupid, I'm glad you posted it on here as an example. Thanks 👍🏼.
The Israeli supporters were partying with the Ajax supporters just after the game, they were in a good mood. Of course you leave out that those other things allegedly happened the day before. Of course you leave out there had already been protests against the Israeli presence in the city before that. Of course you leave out that confrontations and attacks against the Israeli supporters had already been planned on social media. Of course you leave out those attacks were totally random, even threatening children.
You are the dumbest fuck around. Anyone who reads the article can see the muslims were doing the conflating. Your delusions can't change the truth. Just go read the Quran and jerk off. I'll leave the cold hard evidence to everybody who understands logic. Have a lovely day and tell Kameltoe I said hi.🍆🍆🍆
You did not even finish elementary school, did you?
The fucking point was that you suggested that the Israeli fans provoked their attackers with alleged violent behavior. No, shithead, even before they arrived "pro-Palestinian" protestors protested their presence with aggression. Only a failed abortion like you would think that a bunch of Israeli folks visiting Amsterdam for a football match would spontaneously decide to go on a rampage against everything pro-Palestinian after that. Or an anti-semitic who believes it's in their nature, of course...
Another thing you failed to understand is that those things allegedly happened the day before the match and the muslim attackers from the next day were a whole different group who had responded to social media posts and, as the article shows, were randomly going after "jews", clearly conflating two different groups.
Will you understand any of what I said now? No, of course not. You will just keep on deflecting by repeating ad nauseum that I'm the one doing the conflating while I simply repeated what muslims say. You're obviously one of those types that just think your delusions become true if you say them often enough.
I'm sure we won't have to wait long for another act by muslims to destroy another one of those delusions. Let's see if you're going to laugh at your own stupidity as well then.👍
...even before they arrived "pro-Palestinian" protestors protested their presence with aggression...
Hahaha 🤣 Once again!
There's literally no stopping you is there? This is just the SAME thing as your Israeli / Jewish conflation. Even although you clearly don't believe it, it's like your brain simply cannot register that some people will be ANTI ISRAEL / ZIONISTS but that for them that is not the same thing as being anti-semitic. That's why you had to put inverted commas around pro-Palastian because for you it literally does not not compute that viewpoint even exists.
It's hilarious actually.
Case in point but I'll ask it again:- Do you really, truly believe 100% that it was all a massive COINCIDENCE that Amsterdam was besieged by people spontaneously deciding they were going to go on anti-semitic rampage the very day, Israeli football hooligans / thugs are documented destroying flags, etc, singing inflammatory songs about killing Arabs and disrespecting flood death victims?
You genuinely believe that? It was all just a massive COINCIDENCE and as you claim, the next mass attack on Jewish people out of thin air is just around the corner? 😂 Sorry but you'd have to be a complete f-ckwit to believe that...
You said we won't have to wait long for the next act of random Muslim violence towards Jews but let me make a startling prediction for you:- If and when that happens it is going to be at a flashpoint between Anti Israel / Pro Palestine protesters and pro Israel supporters NOT some random mass attack on Jewish people for sweet fa reason, in exactly the same way as this was.

You also have a habit of misconstrueing what I say. I've actually always supported a two-state solution, but in your anti-semitic mind, criticism of muslims can not possibly be allowed.
I made a distinction between the "pro-Palestinian" protesters" from the day before the match and the group of muslims who went on a "jew hunt" after the match. And yes, I question the motives of those protesters, just like I question yours. It's obvious muslims give you a hard-on.
No matter how you twist and turn it, local muslims going on a "Jew hunt" is NOT the logical result of Israeli football fans allegedly destroying a Palestinian flag after being attacked by pro-Palestinian protestors. It's just being used as an excuse.
...Like I said, I'm addressing people with actual common sense.
Probably the most stupid thing you've said yet.
No one in their right mind is following this nonsense down to this point but you and me. And I've had enough of howling at the moon, so I'll bid you farewell for now.
Despite saying that, I suppose you'll still feel the need to reply as your tiny brain once again fails to register the patently obviously and confuses getting the last post in with "winning" 😂.
If I was going to hazard a guess I suspect you'll somehow manage to conflate my point here as well, and have it applying to an earlier mark in the conversation...
But for me, that's enough.
Until next time:- Good day to you Sir 👍.

I have yet to see an Israeli flag hanging from a window or balcony around town. Not even at the local synagogue. Those Palestinian flags are everywhere, though.
It's because those same people chant "from the river to the sea" without knowing what river and sea they're talking about. They just go with the crowd.
I would not call Muslims ‘scum’ but we’ve learned only too well that there are some very lethal operators within their faith. Happily, Allied forces have introduced many thousands of these terrorists to ALLAH.
That’s an awful lot of virgins in line to marry worthless killers.
