Thom Yorke destroyed my best friend's relationship.

He didn't do it personally, but...

Back in the 1990s, just after college, my friend was dating a young woman. She always looked naggingly familiar to me but I could never place who it was she looked like. Then one day we were sitting around their apartment and a Radiohead video came on the TV. I forget which one it was, but in one scene, Thom Yorke looked EXACTLY like my friend's girlfriend except for the hair. If you had put a long, blonde wig on Yorke, they would have been the same person.

My friend noticed it too. I could tell by the way he suddenly looked from Yorke to the girl. I did the same thing, too. She did not react to the video at all.

My friend broke up with her very soon after. He told me that after seeing the video, he just could not stand the idea of having sex with Thom Yorke, or at least, a woman who looked exactly like him.
