Because he's a charisma vacuum onscreen. You can get away with not being the most technically proficient actor but you cannot get away with not having any on-screen charisma. And looks wise he's handsome but completely unmemorable.

Now that 'actor' can't do an American accent or Russian accent to save his life, yet those dumb ''casting people'' continue to hire that untalented buffoon, totally one of the worst actors ever. No idea why he gets so many roles.
