Mancunian done well, his TV + Sci-Fi film work 2nd to none.

Was thrilled at seeing his name in the credits for 'Prometheus', so glad to see Benedict doing well for himself. I remember him being so good in the massively under-rated sitcom '15 Storeys High' and his other science fiction movies 'Sunshine' & 'Moon' alongside the alien prequel are basically the best we've had in decades.

Does anyone know what part of Manchester he is from - could he possibly be a Salfordian by any chance? I am but say am Mancunian out of habit but looking at his birthdate I wonder if he lived near me in Broughton when he was younger. Anyone know more about him?

Yes, he's from Salford. A friend of mine was at school with him.
