Miss Winnick is a VERY good candidate. She should be on the short list for sure (at the very least). Although I'm not sure if she'd even be interested in the role.

She has expressed interest several times and even shared some fan made images of her as Captain Marvel which are not hard to find on her Facebook Twitter and Instagram. She would certainly be far and away my top choice.

She was my first choice for the role. I like Brie Larson and I'm sure she will do fine. But KW would have been brilliant. I think they overlooked her in part due to the fact she is almost 40. Typical of Hollywood. But hopefully she gets lots of great roles when Vikings wraps up if not before.
