He died at only 47
I wasn't even aware he had passed. I was watching him recently in the movie 'Carny' and on The Golden Girls and decided to look him up.

I remember him from that one episode in M*A*S*H where he played a helicopter pilot. The guy looked like he had a pretty fulfilling career as an actor.
It's a shame to hear he passed away at 47 due to a stroke in 1991. I didn't even know about it myself.
